Andrea Walsh is a long time resident of the Agassiz neighborhood; she lives with her husband and teenage son, who formerly attended Agassiz Afterschool and Outback Summer Program. She currently teaches at MIT in the Programs in Writing and Humanistic Studies and Women’s and Gender Studies. Andrea previously served on the boards of Elder Home Care Services and the University of Massachusetts Gerontology

Certificate Program at U Mass-Worcester. Andrea serves as co-Chair of the ABC Board, is on the Building Committee for the Maud Morgan Visual Arts Center, and is a planning member of the Living Well Network. Andrea also serves as a member of the Cambridge Agassiz Harvard (CAH) Fund Board.
