Safe and Secure: protecting your online info

Submitted by on March 7, 2018 – 12:50 pmNo Comment

The Living Well Network presents an  LWN Technology Class.

It’s now more important than ever to keep your information and accounts secure when you’re using the internet. But that’s easier said than done – it can be difficult to use strong passwords, and even more difficult to remember them all! In this class, we’ll talk about why online security is so important, and how you can keep your info safe. We’ll show you tricks to create strong passwords that are also easy to remember, and we’ll look at the benefits of using a password manager like LastPass. Bring your laptop and/or smartphone and gain hands-on practice. Taught by volunteer, Janelle Sims*. This class is for people age 55+.  Free for LWN Members and $5 for non-members.
