Fougy graduated from Suffolk University with a BA in Social Psychology, an EdM, from Harvard Graduate School of Education with a focus in Human Development and Psychology, and a MSLIS in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives Management from Simmons School of Library and Information Science. They worked in the mental health and clinical research field both in Philadelphia and Boston, and most recently was the Archivist for the Alexander Agassiz Expedition and Other Images Collection at the Ernst Mayr Library of the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University. Serving on several non-profit boards and leading community based organizations, Fougy has in the past coordinated development strategies, fundraising events, and fostered relationships with both community members and donors.

They bring to ABC their enthusiasm for community based programs, information organization, and accessible art education. On their free time, Fougy can be found enjoying their hobbies: the African art of braiding hair, community gardening, hiking, and writing about wholistic care.
