Outback Summer Counselor-in-Training Program
Outback Councilor in Training (CIT) Program registration is now closed. Please check back in January of 2011 for the summer 2011 application.

The summer Councilor in Training (CIT) Program is open to students entering 7th–9th grades. CITS CheeringCITs assist summer staff with activities, engage with children during free time and snack/lunch, and complete afternoon cleaning tasks.

The most important role of a CIT is to be a positive role model and a leader for Outback children. CITs are an integral part of inspiring Outback students as well as supporting all Outback staff. They are paid a small stipend for assisting thirty hours a week for a two-week session.

The CIT Program fills very quickly and applications are processed on a first-come-first-served basis. The registration process opens in the February prior to Outback. Applicants will be asked to come in for a brief interview.

Please email Alice Vogler if you have specific questions or would like to be placed on the mailing list.

Agassiz Baldwin Afterschool Teachers-in-Training Program
The Teachers-in-Training (TNT) program is open for students entering 6th–8th grade in the TNTs Bake at North Hallfall school year.  Similar to our CIT program, the role of a TNT is to be a positive role model and leader to students enrolled in Agassiz Baldwin Afterschool during the academic school year.

TNTs are placed in a position of responsibility and are given a valuable opportunity to develop their leadership qualities, communication, and work skills. They are paid a small stipend for assisting two hours per week for twelve weeks.

TNTs may work during the fall or spring semester. The fall TNT program begins the third week in September and the spring program begins the third week of January.

Applications must be received three weeks prior to the program start date. Applicants will be asked to come in for a brief interview.

Please email Alice Vogler with specific questions.
