General Information
Our biggest community event of the year, the Annual Thanksgiving Potluck Feast is where old friends and new neighbors meet and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings. Agassiz Baldwin Community supplies the turkey (cooked by volunteers), cranberry sauce, and drinks, while our guests bring salads, sides, and desserts inspired by their own family traditions. Hosted in the Maria L. Baldwin School cafeteria, this neighborhood tradition held on the Tuesday before the Thanksgiving holiday has continued for nearly fifty years!

Chefs Needed
Help make Thanksgiving memorable by volunteering to cook a turkey for the Potluck. Every year we deliver a free turkey and roasting pan, or ingredients for a meat-free main dish, to volunteers’ homes the week of the event.

Volunteers then drop off the cooked turkey (no stuffing, please) or meat-free main dish before dinner begins on the evening of the event.

To volunteer, contact psinclair@agassiz.org or (617) 349-6287 x10.

Activities for Kids
Activities for children are available in the Maria L. Baldwin School gym and in the afterschool community room, but parents are ultimately responsible for their children.
