Maud Morgan Arts is a dynamic center where established and emerging artists create, teach, exhibit, and collaborate; where all who value the visual arts —young and old, beginner and professional— can choose from a wide range of innovative and imaginative visual art programs.

Our Mission
Maud Morgan Arts provides high quality and affordable classes and activities taught by experienced faculty. From afterschool and evening classes and workshops, to vacation and summer programs, Maud Morgan Arts engages students from Cambridge and surrounding communities in all aspects of making art.

About the New Art Center
Honoring the spirit of Maud Morgan, a dearly loved Cambridge artist, the Maud Morgan Visua5u84f48nl Arts Center is a work of art itself. The new center, located in a restored and enlarged 19th century carriage house at 20 Sacramento Street in Cambridge, is spacious with landscaped outdoor areas  accessible for both work and play.

The center includes studios for printmaking, ceramics, painting and drawing, and three-dimensional work. Programming includes fully-equipped studios for artists’ projects/meetings/workshops, artist-in-residence programs, and exhibition and meeting space. Visitors will be delighted to find, both inside and outside, site-specific public artwork designed by nine well-known Cambridge artists.

Maud Morgan Arts was made possible through the generosity of founding donors and through grants from Cambridge Arts Council, Massachusetts Cultural Council, and the Mass Cultural Facilities Fund.  Visit our press page to learn more about the construction.

Partners
We are working with the Art Institute of Boston on collaborative activities with an eye to an exciting partnership when they build their new home at Porter Square.
