Vouchers
Maria L. Baldwin Community Center (MLBCC) is committed to providing accessible, high-quality children’s programs and accepts childcare vouchers. Families should review the Early Education and Care Financial Assistance for Families Guide available on the mass.gov website to begin the process. When registering, voucher-eligible families should contact Registration to obtain a Confirmation of Provider form.
Equity and Access Scholarship Awards
We strongly value a diverse population of children and families and strive to maintain an environment that reflects economic, racial and cultural diversity. To help achieve this end, the Equity and Access Scholarship Initiative raises funds allocated for scholarships for MLBCC & MMA Afterschool Programs and Outback Summer Program.
Scholarships are intended for families who are not eligible for a state childcare voucher, but still demonstrate a need for childcare.
Notes on Scholarship Eligibility
- Recipients of our scholarship awards often receive public assistance (WIC, food stamps, Section 8 housing, free or reduced lunch).
- We take into account gross monthly income, family size, and personal hardship.
- Due to limited scholarship award funding, families must commit to regular attendance. Children are expected to attend at least 80% of their scheduled enrollment.
We are committed to providing open communication and encourage you to contact Registration for guidance if you have any questions or concerns about your eligibility.
