Insurance Coverage for at home testing

Beginning Saturday, January 15, 2022, individuals covered by a health insurance plan who purchase an FDA-approved, over-the-counter COVID-19 diagnostic test will be able to have those tests covered by their insurance. This NPR story covers the basic information here.

At Home Rapid Tests for Older Cambridge Residents

The Cambridge Senior Center still has free COVID-19 test kits available for older Cambridge residents. One kit per household, each kit contains two tests. Available at the 1st floor reception desk of the Cambridge Senior Center—only while supplies last.

Home Delivered Rapid Tests

If you have symptoms, a known exposure, or live or work in a congregate setting, you can have a test sent by overnight delivery, which you then send to a lab to be processed. Use this link for more information here.
