Help keep sidewalks accessible by removing trash barrels and recycling bins that are turned over or put back on the sidewalk after collection in a way that blocks access. Also please trim back botanical obstructions (overhanging bushes, etc.) to help keep sidewalks clear for those with disabilities, parents with strollers, and everyone else!

The City of Cambridge issues fines of $25 per day for barrels or bins that are left out on the sidewalk after 6 pm on collection day. If you notice this happening regularly on your street, please contact Department of Public Works (DPW) at (617) 349-4800.
