Ninth Artist Joins the MMVAC Artist/Architect Collaborative
In 2001, eight artists were selected with the help of Cambridge Arts Council to create site specific art for the proposed Maud Morgan Visual Arts Center. This past fall, a ninth artist joined their ranks. David Phillips is currently creating a copper and bronze weathervane in the design of an artist’s palette. It will sit atop the original cupola, renovated for the new center. This work is available for underwriting at $5,000.
