Maria LaPage, Co-Executive Director
Before assuming her current position as Executive Director, Maria LaPage served the Agassiz Baldwin Community in a variety of roles, beginning as an afterschool teacher in 2008 and later advancing to 1st-5th Grade Site Director and then Director of Children’s Programs. Under her leadership, Agassiz Baldwin Children’s Programs have significantly grown in enrollment and continue to thrive.
In her role as Executive Director, Maria is dedicated to implementing ABC’s mission across all of its programs. She believes in creating a welcoming and inclusive space that fosters lifelong learning and love of creativity, and she is committed to serving the whole community by increasing scholarships for low-income families.
Maria is a lifelong student herself, with many “afterschool” hobbies of her own, including vegetarian cooking, soccer, crosswords, making jewelery, and tie-dye. In addition to this long list of skills, she holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and Sociology from Beloit College (2007) and a certificate from Boston University’s Institute for Non-Profit Management and Leadership (2015).
