Your Neighborhood Council – Looking Back at 2017

In 2017, Agassiz Neighborhood Council provided a forum for discussion and action on numerous topics, including, but not limited to:

• Introducing Lesley University’s 6th President
• An affordable housing proposal at 1791 Mass. Ave.
• Greek Corner Restaurant’s interest in the old Oxford Spa space at 102 Oxford St.
• Introducing Envision Cambridge
• Local paving with impermeable materials & the climate crisis
• Neighborhood Resiliency

Additionally, ANC staff helped to plan a City Council Candidates’ Forum with Porter Square Neighbors Association and other community groups.

Our community is stronger when citizens take an active part. Attend a Neighborhood Council meeting, suggest topics for discussion, volunteer on a subcommittee —get involved!
