December ANC Meeting Canceled & Important Information

This month’s Agassiz Neighborhood Council Meeting has been canceled. Please join us at our next regularly scheduled meeting in January, on Tuesday the 14th at 7:30 PM.
There are two items of note that pertain to the neighborhood to be aware of in the meantime. See below for information.
Budega, Inc. Application at Cambridge Planning Board
A Special Permit application submitted by Arish and Sareena Halani of Budega, Inc., a retail cannabis business proposed for 1686 Mass. Ave. (currently occupied by Stereo Jack’s), will be reviewed by the Planning Board on Tuesday, December 10 at 8:00 PM. Case #353

Dear Annie Application at Board of Zoning Appeals
The owner of Rebel Rebel wine bar in Somerville, Lauren Friel, and business partners Sara Markey and Andrew Brady, are in the process of opening a new establishment at 1741 Mass. Ave. (formerly Nomad) called Dear Annie, a “wine bar and community space.” They’ve applied for a Special Permit to reduce the parking requirements. Their application will be reviewed by the Board of Zoning Appeals on Thursday, December 12, 8:45 PM. Case #BZA-017215-2019
