Helena Alves approached us in November 2011 to volunteer at the Computer Lounge. She is a patient, positive, and creative person who has strong teaching skills. She is also quick to find common interests with herself and the people she is helping. After two years of working together and building relationships with lab participants, we are sad but excited for Helena as she moves on to other ventures. All of us at the Lounge wish her well.
