As a Cambridge-area resource for aging, the Living Well Network will periodically use the LWN Update to inform the community about valuable local connections that are relevant and specific to those growing older.

This issue the Community Notebook focuses on Paine Senior Services established by bequest in 1905 and located in Harvard Square. The experienced, licensed, and compassionate social workers at PSS help Cambridge residents age 60+ stay independent as they age in their homes. PSS is committed to providing a wide range of high quality services for Cambridge elders and their families regardless of their financial means. Reasonable fees may be charged based on a sliding scale. PSS offers assistance through counseling, and help to access health insurance, resources, services, benefits, and available options. They are available to assess short-term and long-term needs for seniors and caregivers.
