Vacation Week Programming at MLBCC is full day care during February and April vacation weeks for K-5th grade students. The 1st-5th program is based out of the Maria L. Baldwin School and the Kindergarten program is based out of our building at 20 Sacramento Street. Enrollment and tuition are separate from our afterschool programming.

Curriculum/Activities The day is split into four activity blocks, which offer children a variety of activity options to choose from. Typical choice offerings include a mix of structured activities such as sports, games, visual arts, crafts and performance arts, as well as visits to nearby Alden Park and Sacramento Field.

Our Space The program is based out of both the Maria L. Baldwin School for 1st-5th graders and 20 Sacramento Street for Kindergarteners. We try to spend as much time outside as possible, weather permitting, and make frequent use of our spacious backyard at 20 Sac or the playgrounds and field at Alden Park & Sacramento Field.

Hours
Vacation Week programs are full day care from 8:30 am-5:45 pm. All students must be picked up by 5:45 pm, but early pick ups are welcome! We do not offer early drop off.

Snack/Lunch
We provide all children with an afternoon snack. Families must send their child to program with a nut-free morning snack and lunch.

Tuition Rates for 2026 Programs
Note: we are only offering enrollment for the entire week of programming

$350 for families currently enrolled in our afterschool program
$525 for all other families

If you are not interested in signing up for the full week, we will be offering a drop in option for currently enrolled afterschool families at a rate of $130 per day. This option will be offered closer to the start of the program and dependent on space available.

Refund Policy
We can only refund tuition for vacation weeks for withdrawals processed more than two weeks prior to the program start date. We will retain $50 of your tuition payment as a cancellation fee.
