January LWN Yoga – Energetic Breathwork and Aikido

Snow yoga headstand by inu-photoAfter all the holiday celebrating, it’s going to feel good to stretch. We’ll also be strengthening the abs, and paying attention to our balance. Every class we continue to practice an Aikido breathing technique that coordinates inhale-exhale with movement.

Cost: $10 drop-in
Date: Saturdays, January 19th, 26th
Time: 9:30-10:30 AM
Location: University Hall, 1815 Mass Ave. (buidling near Porter T that houses the Japanese restaurants), Room 4-004
What to Bring: Your yoga matt and towel. We have blocks and straps.
What to Wear: Loose clothing

Teachers: Christine Palamidessi M.A, 500 Yoga Alliance RYT Christine has been practicing yoga since the 1980s and teaching yoga since 2007. Matthew Bagedonow began studying Aikido in the 70s. His teacher, Kanai Sensei, was a direct student of Morihei Ueshiba the founder of Aikido.
