Become a Google Search Whiz at LWN Senior Computer Lounge
The internet is huge. There is a LOT out there, and sometimes it can be difficult to find what you need. Google and other search engines have helped, but even those require you to know HOW to search or else you’ll get 100,000 results and none of them will be what you wanted!
Douglas Kline will be teaching us, using some hands-on search exercises, how to get the most out of our Google searches. We’ll discuss what language you should use in your search, how to filter your results, and how to take advantage of Google’s search suggestions to speed up the whole process.
Where: LWN Senior Computer Lounge at 1651 Mass. Ave. (brick building at corner of Mass. Ave. and Wendell)
When: This Wednesday, January 27th from 1-3 PM
As space is limited, please contact Nathaniel Meyer via email or phone at (617) 349-6287 x16 if you plan to attend.
