LWN Yoga Class this Saturday – January 15
Join teachers Christine Palamidessi and Matt Bagedonow for our on-going Saturday yoga series on January 15.
Christine writes: Mid-January we like to sit on the sofa and be cozy with a book, Super Bowl playoffs, and a cup of hot chocolate. Nothing wrong with that. But it’s a good idea to not let the body’s energy stagnate in the pelvis and hips because then our knees start talking, our feet start barking, and we begin to feel like hibernating bears. Too much cozy zaps energy; we opt out of going outside for a walk and fresh air.
The yoga poses we do this Saturday will move energy out of the pelvis and down the legs. In addition we will do poses for shoulder strengthening, and add in a few graceful Aikido moves to enliven the feet. I’ll instruct you in a breathing exercise to light up interior Self.
