As a Cambridge-area resource for aging, the Living Well Network will periodically use the LWN Update to inform the community about valuable local connections that are relevant and specific to those growing older.
There are times when the home is no longer an option for a frail elder. If you have a loved one that is in need of long-term nursing care, you can learn much from Massachusetts’ online nursing home search tools. Find information on how the state and families rate facilities. Compare those ratings against state averages. This tool helps you find, evaluate, and select a nursing home if that’s what is needed.
