Dear Families and Friends of Agassiz Baldwin Community,

ABC is pleased to announce that Heather Zeiden has been promoted to a full time position as the 1-5 Afterschool and Outback Site Director.  Heather is stepping into Maria Laine’s position, as Maria Laine is now the Director of Children’s Programs. Many of our families know Heather, who has worked at ABC in many roles since 2009.

Formerly a work-study student while earning her master’s degree, Heather worked in the afterschool as a teacher and Art Specialist, as well as taught at Outback.  During the past eighteen months, Heather has been teaching in the Maud Morgan Arts Center. Heather earned a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from the University of California, Irvine and has a Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Book Arts and Education from Lesley University. In her free time, Heather enjoys traveling to new places with her camera and making visual memoirs about her adventures.
